About The Centre
The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Training Centre for Disability Sports – Gwalior (formerly known as the Centre for Disability Sports) is an autonomous body established by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
Registered as a society under the Madhya Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 1973 on 22nd September 2021, the Centre functions under the supervision of a Governing Body and an Executive Committee, which oversee its administrative, operational, and developmental activities.
Spread over an expansive 34-acre campus, the Centre has been envisioned as a world-class hub for sports training and development exclusively dedicated to Divyang (differently-abled) sportspersons from across the country. It aims to nurture talent, enhance sporting skills, and promote inclusivity through advanced infrastructure and professional coaching.
